One of the reasons I decided to do #CreateNovember is because I have a tendency to collect materials to use “one day.” An example of this is the box of plastic erasers that have been sitting on a bookshelf for a couple of years now. A favorite art supplies store was going out of business and selling off its inventory at a deep discount. I was carving a lot of stamps at the time, so I bought a whole box of erasers—and proceeded not to carve them.

Today’s creative activity was to carve a stamp using one of those erasers. It’s the first of that box I’ve carved. I’ve only recently begun to make stamps and carve linoleum again after a long break, so I’m a little rusty. Expect to see more carvings (and more jellyfish) as the month goes on.
