I continued to work on the scarab linoleum block and did a test print on fabric.
I have a vague plan for what to do with this, but I’m still thinking through the particulars.
I also pulled out my Kinect and my copy of Making Things See, which is a book on Kinect hacking.
It took me a while to get set up. The last time I worked with my Kinect and the open drivers that the book uses, I was using a different computer. Things have changed a bit since then, but I finally got things up and running well enough to take a depth image selfie.
As I’m starting week 2, what I’m finding most interesting about this #CreateNovember experiment is how easy the “do something creative” part is versus how difficult the “then blog about it” part is. Getting a post up every day is fine, but getting a post that says more than “here’s what I did today” is proving to be challenging, particularly in terms of time.
